Our Story
1996
Early Labor Management Outsourcing
Our co-founders, current CEO Dean Dorcas and President and CTO Dan Keto launched an outsourcing firm to run labor-intensive operations for supply chain companies.
1998
Pay-for-Performance Added
The firm incorporated structured pay-for-performance incentives around 1998, a core practice that significantly improved warehouse productivity and reduced operating costs.
Early 2000s
Walmart’s #1 network 3 consecutive years
The firm successfully ran distribution centers for Walmart, Target, and Home Depot. Walmart went from 73 to 157 cases/hour in the first year; we became the #1 outsourced DC in the Walmart network for three years in a row.
2009
Launch of Easy Metrics Platform
Initial launch of the Easy Metrics SaaS-based labor analytics platform, designed to help companies identify and optimize their labor costs.
2013
Easy Metrics Secures Capital Venture Funding
Dorcas and Keto focused on the software platform and sold off the outsourcing business, raising $3.3 million in series A venture capital funding from SJF Ventures.

First Dedicated Labor Management Solution in the Industry

Easy Metrics focuses on comprehensive cost to serve, utilizing activity-based costing by process, customer, category, and tier.

LogicWriter Release
Developed LogicWriter, which enables no-code integrations w/ multiple disparate data systems.

Gartner Inc.’s Cool Vendors in Supply Chain Management Designation
Easy Metrics integrated machine learning into data-driven, multimetric labor standards; as a result, Gartner Inc. analyst Dwight Klappich designated Easy Metrics one of Gartner’s Cool Vendors in Supply Chain Management.

Launch of Warehouse Performance Management to provide strategic insights across the entire distribution network.

Nexa Equity Funding
Easy Metrics secured a $31 million growth investment from Nexa Equity.
