Dean Dorcas is the CEO and Co-Founder of Easy Metrics, a leading warehouse labor management and analytics software company. He launched Easy Metrics in 2013, spinning off technology developed at Integrated Management Systems (IMS), which he co-founded to manage distribution centers for major global retailers. In 2024, Dean was the driving force behind securing a transformative private equity partnership, orchestrating the acquisition of competitor TZA, and solidifying Easy Metrics’ industry leadership. A U.S. Naval Academy graduate, ranking #1 in Economics and in the top 1% of his class, Dean also graduated from the Owner/President Management Program at the Harvard Business School. A former National Motorcycle Champion and nationally ranked rower, his competitive drive powers Easy Metrics’ mission to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions for warehouses worldwide.

A Distinguished Graduate in Economics from the U.S. Naval Academy and Graduate of Harvard Business School, Dan spent his naval career working for the National Security Agency as a Russian linguist and Cryptologic Officer. Dan co-founded Easy Metrics Inc. in 2012 where he serves as President and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to Easy Metrics, Dan was the co-founder of Integrated Management Systems, a distribution outsourcing company. Dan has extensive experience in business process and information systems development. He is a published author and guest lectures at the University of Washington Evans School on Performance Management and Strategic Knowledge Management.

As Chief Operating Officer, Karl brings his extensive experience and expertise in operations, logistics and transportation with over 30 years of experience. Karl graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Oceanography with a concentration in Mathematics. Prior to Easy Metrics, he was President of Door-to-Door storage where he oversaw the transportation division and was on the Board of Directors. He worked alongside Dean and Dan as COO of IMS from 2005-2014, overseeing sales and operations. Karl enjoys traveling with his family and volunteering as a coach for both soccer and lacrosse.

As CFO, Lyle is responsible for overseeing all financial and people operations, focused on driving growth and expansion along side the leadership team, while also ensuring that the company maintains a strong financial position and while facilitating the culture within Easy Metrics. Lyle has over 15 years of experience in SaaS and has held several finance leadership positions within different high growth software business, including recently serving as CFO of Optimere, where he was instrumental in scaling the business through its successful exit. Lyle started his career in the assurance services practice of Ernst & Young, where he focused in the technology sector. Lyle holds a degree in finance and accounting from the University of South Florida. Lyle enjoys traveling with his family and spending lots of time with his kids coaching hockey and on the soccer/baseball fields.

Steve Cascio assumed the role of Chief Revenue Officer at Easy Metrics in October 2024. His responsibilities encompass overseeing all revenue-generating functions, including sales, marketing, and customer success. Steve’s extensive experience in the enterprise software sector and equity-backed organizations has equipped him with a proven ability to establish and manage high-performing teams. Prior to his current position, Steve held leadership roles in several prominent technology companies, including SAP and CAI Software. Throughout his career, he has consistently surpassed revenue goals and cultivated robust customer relationships. He is a dedicated proponent of customer-centric growth and committed to assisting businesses in realizing their maximum potential. Steve earned a Finance Degree from The University of Maine and resides in Falmouth, Maine. He enjoys outdoor activities, such as skiing, boating, hiking and is an avid baseball fan.

Ronda is the Vice President of Marketing, responsible for creating marketing strategies that drive growth and brand awareness. With over 20 years of experience, Ronda has developed successful marketing strategies for companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations. Before her executive roles focusing on go-to-market strategies for startups and private equity-backed companies, Ronda co-founded two B2B advertising and marketing agencies. Under her leadership, these agencies won over 150 national and international awards. Ronda holds a degree in Business with a minor in Marketing from Arizona State University and will graduate from Columbia Business School’s CMO program in February 2025. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing beach volleyball.

Vlad is the Founder and Managing Partner of Nexa Equity. Vlad is Chairman of the Board of Autura, Vendara, Leap, Storewise, Easy Metrics and sits on the board of Hometown. Prior to founding Nexa, Vlad was a Managing Director at Greater Sum Ventures. Before that Vlad spent time at both Thomo Bravo and Insight Partner. Vlad started his career as an investment banker at JP Morgan and Citigroup. Vlad lives in Marin County outside San Francisco with his wife, son, and dog and is an avid snowboarder.

Prior to joining Nexa Equity, Joey was a Vice President at Luminate Capital Partners where he focused on growth buyouts in application software companies. Before that, Joey was a technology investment banker at Arbor Advisors and a management consultant at Waterstone Management Group. Joey lives in San Francisco and enjoys skiing and traveling with his family and friends.

Dave is an independent board member and operating advisor focused on helping software executives at public and private equity-backed companies drive value creation initiatives. He was formerly an executive leader at 3 top-tier enterprise software companies with $1B+ in revenue – Hyperion, Informatica & Blue Yonder – all of which realized multi-billion dollar shareholder returns upon exit. Across these companies, Dave effectuated organic & inorganic value creation by spearheading strategy, operational transformation initiatives, strategic partnerships and M&A. Earlier in his career, Dave was a private equity investor at Thayer Capital Partners and Atlas Ventures, and he began his career in investment banking at Robertson Stephens & Co. He holds an AB in Economics from Princeton and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. In addition to Easy Metrics, Dave serves on the boards of Blue Ridge Solutions and OpsHub.
